Arjowiggins Security launched at the last Buenos Aires Currency Conference in May 2010 Bioguard V which is a treatment against viruses, bacteria and fungi for banknote papers.

PIXEL™ WATERMARK

Arjowiggins Security recently launched the pixel watermark: a new first level security feature. This high-light watermark, combined with a shadow watermark, enhances the contrast and adds perspective to a watermark designs.
The results are: impossible-to-miss visual security feature, easier identification & authentication of watermark and better resistance to counterfeiting.

IACA has awarded the 2010 best new security feature to Pixel™ watermark at the Currency Conference held in Buenos Aires from 9 to 12 May.

DIAMONE® & DIAMONE® COMPOSITE

Billions of banknotes have been introduced using Arjowiggins Security high banknote paper DIAMONE® over the past few years. With DIAMONE® COMPOSITE, characterised by the use of a small amount of synthetic fibers mixed with cotton pulp, we intend to increase banknote lifespan even more.

BIOGUARD®

Arjowiggins Security has developed Bioguard®, a treatment against bacteria and fungi for banknote paper. Bioguard® has been adopted by 3 major Central Banks. Other important contracts are under discussion.
